Non-Executive Directors

Routes to Work Ltd
Management Board
On site: North Lanarkshire
Closing 16 June 2025
Advertised from 5 June 2025

Role

Routes To Work Limited (RTW) is a Company Limited by Guarantee with Charitable status and is a key strategic partner within the North Lanarkshire Local Employability Partnership. Established as an independent charity in 2002, we have assisted around 24,000 unemployed local residents back into employment over the past twenty-three years whilst investing over £52 million in the local economy. We have developed a strong reputation for being an innovator and leading provider of skills & employability services locally and nationally.

As we continue our growth trajectory, we are keen to recruit a number of new non-Executive Directors/Trustees with an interest in and commitment to socio-economic regeneration and who will support & drive our organisational purpose, mission, vision & values.

Board meetings take place quarterly with additional sub-committee meetings taking place in between. On average, we would look for a commitment of approximately 35 hours per annum from Directors/Trustees. As trustees of a registered charity, Board members are unpaid however necessary travel & subsistence costs may be reimbursed.

RTW is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and challenge inequalities to make a real, lasting, and positive difference to the lives of people across North Lanarkshire and other Local Authority areas. We are keen to build the diversity of the Board and, as such, would welcome applications from all sectors of the community, particularly those from under-represented groups.
