Role

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • A minimum of 450 hours of supervised practice gained over no less than two years
  • A counselling diploma at postgraduate level
  • Specialist training in counselling children and young people 
  • Current Membership of BACP 
  • Have a valid driving license and/or able to travel throughout Angus

Background:

Hear Me is a registered Scottish Charity, established in June 2013. Our purpose is to provide a highly specialised, trauma specific counselling and support service in Angus for adults and children (aged 8+) who have experienced or been affected by the trauma of sexual abuse at any time in their lives.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing counselling, face-to-face, by telephone, video conferencing, and/or outdoors for children and young people aged 8-25 years who have experienced or been affected by the trauma of sexual abuse.
