At AdvoCard, we’re not just another charity; we’re a vibrant, community-focussed organisation dedicated to amplifying the voices of mental health and substance use service users across Edinburgh. If you’re looking for a place where your expertise can create real, meaningful change, this is it!

We’re looking for passionate, skilled, and dynamic new trustees to join our board and help us shape the future of advocacy in Edinburgh.

• You’ll be working with a team that values every trustee’s input, recognising the vital role your experience and expertise bring.
• Our Board meets online every two months, making it easy to contribute from anywhere.

Who We’re Looking For:

We would welcome applications from people with the following experience

• Management in a health or social care setting
• Finance
• Policy work
• Marketing including social media and communications

We would particularly welcome applications from people with this type of experience and lived or living experience of mental health or substance use services.

Make a Difference That Matters 

At AdvoCard, your contributions will go beyond the boardroom. You’ll be helping to ensure that some of the most vulnerable people in society are treated with dignity and respect.
