The Indigo Childcare Group
Management Board
Hybrid: Glasgow

Advertised from 8 May 2025

Role

Are you passionate about supporting families in Scotland to support children and young people with the best possible start in life?

Indigo Group is a triple award-winning social enterprise. Operating for more than 30 years, we work with children and families across Central Scotland. We empower children, young people and their families to overcome adversity and realise their ambitions through a range of services. For more information about us please visit Home | Indigo (indigogrp.com)

Board Member opportunities

We’re growing and are hugely ambitious for children and families. In 2024, we acquired a nursery in East Kilbride, and our strategy is ambitious for continued growth to reach and empower more families across the West of Scotland.

We’re looking for committed individuals to join our Board. This is an incredible opportunity to make a difference to children across the age span, their families and their communities. You’ll build your own skills, broaden your network and contribute to the future development of our social enterprise.

We are currently recruiting Board Members to join our board from September 2025, with a particular interest in candidates with skills and experience in public health/children’s services, digital/technology, and funding/fundraising.

The most important attributes of Board Members joining us include sharing our passion and values, a willingness to ask questions, as well as a time commitment to the role. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you.

This is a voluntary position therefore the role is unpaid. Reasonable expenses would be reimbursed in line with the Charity's expense policy.

Application notes

To apply, please send your CV along with a covering letter/statement outlining why you are interested in the role and the strengths you would bring to recruitment@indigogrp.com

For an informal discussion around the role with either our CEO or Chair, please contact Nicola Brolly on Nicola.brolly@indigogrp.com to arrange a date/time.

Closing date for applications is 9th June 2025.

We expect interviews to be scheduled for times between 16th and 27th June.
