Role
Job Purpose: To provide an Emotional Support Service to children and families who have been impacted by childhood abuse.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To provide emotional support to children and families who have been impacted by childhood abuse
Qualifications and Skills
It is essential to hold a relevant qualification (e.g. counselling, psychology, social care or health, social work) and/or have experience of delivering emotional support work to children and/or families.
You should have experience and/or knowledge of working with children and/ or families who have experienced childhood abuse.
A qualification and/or training in working with trauma and abuse and experience of delivering group work to children and/or adults is desirable.
