To promote the welfare of cats in every possible way, including the provision of a shelter under the charge of a suitable resident warden for stray and unwanted cats, the neutering of cats of both sexes by a fully qualified veterinary surgeon, to educate the public in the care and maintenance of cats, and to co-operate with other societies working for the welfare of cats.
